LILLIAN AXE To Release New Album In June

Metro City Records (a division of Screaming Ferret Wreckords and distributed by Fontana/Universal) has set a June 12 release date for the new album from melodic metallists LILLIAN AXE, entitled "Water's Rising". The group's upcoming effort marks their first all-new studio album since 1993's highly regarded "Psychoschizophrenia". Led by founding guitarist Steve Blaze, LILLIAN AXE earned the respect of "Headbanger's Ball" viewers coast to coast with such releases as 1988's self-titled debut and 1992's "Poetic Justice" — the latter of which saw the band turn a blind eye to the then-burgeoning grunge sound and stick to their stylistic guns.
